Thomas founded CHIFFON FRAMEWORKs in March 2025 to help small and mid-sized firms get more out of the institutional knowledge they already have. A Columbia graduate in Economics & Psychology, he spent the first stretch of his career in finance, strategy, and data roles at technology firms in New York. Across those roles, the gap between senior leadership and the junior teams beneath them came down to context: who knew where things lived, what a number meant, which definitions held across departments.
AI hasn't fixed this. Most deployments make it worse, because the tools invent the context they don't have. CHIFFON's premise is that AI becomes a real force multiplier only when the knowledge underneath it is organized and answerable to the business it serves.
Thomas now invests in, builds, and advises firms on context management. The goal is AI that works like a coworker, not a chatbot.
